Advance Panama, part of The Advance Project, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit education foundation that provides access to higher education for some of Panama’s most underprivileged students. Our mission is to Advance Panama, its people, and communities through education and strategic relationships. The purpose of Advance Panama is to share love in a practical way: by educating people out of poverty. First, this education initiative funds the complete university education for Panama’s underprivileged students. Not only this, it also provides a structure in which each student is personally mentored, taught English, and provided with leadership training as they pursue their academic and career goals. This proven model equips our students with crucial skills that will allow them to succeed in all areas of their lives.

The primary goal of Advance Panama is to cultivate proactive and competent leaders. Advance Panama is transparent in every aspect of our operations, including fiscal responsibility.  All donations to Advance Panama are tax deductible. It is estimated that less than 4% of rural Panamanian youth earn college degrees. With your help, this can change. Join us in providing the primary tools that can break the cycle of poverty.  Allow our students to be the first one in their family to earn a wage greater than $2 per hour.  By earning a university degree, our students can rise above subsistence level living.
